In his address, the Club's Chairman, on behalf of the Management Committee, Trustees and the entire membership of the club, expressed delight to be in the university in the spirit of goodwill and cooperation, stating  that the club and the university share not only a boundary but also a commitment to excellence, community service and the promotion of educational, social and intellectual growth.

He revealed that they envision a collaboration that will foster academic growth and community enrichment while offering direct benefits to both the university and the club.

High Chief Okeke listed the mutual benefits and synergies to include; Exclusive Membership Opportunities for Senior Members and Management of Imo State University, Use of Sports and Recreational Facilities, Student Internships and Work Experience, Joint Cultural and Social Events, Promoting Alumni Engagement, Joint Research and Community Projects, among others.

In his reaction, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Uchefula U. Chukwumaeze, SAN, FCArb, on behalf of the University Management, Staff and Students, welcomed the visitors  and described their visit as the first of it's kind.

He hinted that High Chief Charles Okeke was one of those who assisted not only financially but also provided internet facilities for the faculty, with which the Law Faculty E-Library was powered.
